Overview

This service allows you to upload an image, scan it, and return to you the image's readable text.
This is very useful for adminstration of bills, businesscards any other document from which you want or need the data to be available as text.

Added the option to receive extra information from service.mendixcloud.com. For instance vehicle information when the image contains a Dutch license plate.

This service will return to you the text that is available in the photo that you upload.

Installation

Installation is just this marketplace module, if you have started your application from the base-application, that will make you have all you need already.

Otherwise, from the marketplace install these modules, if you have not already done so:

• Community commons;
• SystemManagement;
• OQL;
• Service connector;

Add snippet Snip_ClientPage_OcrService to one of your application’s pages and start uploading your first images.
