This connects you to the services the are available on Mendixcloud and makes it easy to use them. Some free, some against a price, but all always available.

Some of these services are offered to you by Mendix consultants that have some serious functionality to add to your application. Some of the applications are offered by third-party companies that have made their products available as a service.

Typical usage scenario as a service consumer

Your application can use all services that are provided on this MendixCloud. These services currently only provide location information, sending emails, and OCR for text-from-images. These services will get extended with all sorts services like a business information from the Dutch chamber of commerce (KvK).

If you have a valuable service that can be consumed, then make your service available to consumers on this site. Go to service.mendixcloud.com and contact us. We will inform you what to make and how your service will be added and made available to a broad audience of application-builders.

• Plug and play sending emails. Just by adding the values for To, Subject and Content. And attachments if you like.

Limitations

Fair use policy applies for the number of api-calls that you will make.

Installation

• Add this module to your app;
• Add snippet Snip_Servicepage to a page that an application administrator can get to;
