A Mendix use case where Low Code was used to develop a smart application to automate, simplify and speed up material handling leveraging RFID. Warehouses contain lots of inventory assets. Managing the supply and demand of a warehouse is demanding and error-prone. Misplacement of items can have disastrous effects on your processes. At all times you need to know what unique item is in inventory, on which shelf it is stored, if it is inspected, who checked it out last and how many are left. This app aims to reduce search times and enable more on-time delivery, it creates an increased transparency with up-to-date inventory status at all times and eliminate manual runs with dashboards showing where your items are stored in addition to improved security, allowing you to limit usage of specific items by specific users or user groups.
