Google Gemini Connector

The Mendix connector for the APIs & large language models by Gemini.

Because the Gemini API is compatible with OpenAI, the OpenAI connector is used for execution of all API calls from Gemini specific ones (e.g. 'List Gemini Models').

Text generation

Develop interactive AI chatbots and virtual assistants that can carry out conversations in a natural and engaging manner. Use Gemini Models for text comprehension and analysis use cases such as summarization, synthesis and answering questions about large amounts of text.

This connector simplifies integration with Google Gemini's platform through interfaces for simple configuration and creation of deployed model objects.

With chat completions, you can build applications to:

• Write computer code
• Answer questions about a knowledge base
• Analyze texts
• Give software a natural language interface
• Tutor in a range of subjects
• Translate languages
• Analyze images with vision

Knowledge Base

You can combine Gemini models for text generation with all supported knowledge base providers, for example Mendix Cloud GenAI.
