ACACIA (Automatically Convert Any Cool Idea into an Application)

Content Type: Solution
Categories: Extensions

Overview

Are you tired of writing user stories for software development? Do you struggle to keep your application landscape compliant with emerging enterprise architecture? Or do you want to migrate from OutSystems to Mendix?

Automatically Convert Any Cool Idea into an Application! ACACIA takes model driven software development to the next level! Use structured (enterprise) models or spreadsheets to generate software in minutes. The resulting Mendix application can then be enhanced in Mendix Studio if needed, and automatic deployment to a free cloud node is also supported.

Currently ACACIA supports both DEMO models (in JSON and XMI format) as well as an export of your OutSystems landscape. For DEMO, you can use either the Simplified Modeling platform or the DEMO extension for Sparx Enterprise Architect. For OutSystems, use the Cool Data Model Info plugin from OutSystems Forge.
