This widget is based on CKEditor 4 which is a highly configurable WYSIWYG HTML editor with hundreds of features, from creating rich text content with captioned images, videos, tables, media embeds, emoji, or mentions to pasting from Word and Google Docs and drag&drop image upload.

Description

CKEditor is a highly configurable WYSIWYG HTML editor with hundreds of features, from creating rich text content with captioned images, videos, tables, media embeds, emoji, or mentions to pasting from Word and Google Docs and drag&drop image upload.

It supports a broad range of browsers, including legacy ones.

This widget was built from official CKEditor 4 WYSIWYG editor component for React JS. This is latest open source version (4.22.1)

Features and limitations

The widget build includes all official CKSource plugins with only those from the standard installation preset compiled into the ckeditor.js file and enabled in the configuration.

The widget also include two custom plugins are base64image and autolink. The base64image plugin help user browser local image files and convert to base64 from client side.

User can insert images by browsering local file, as well as drag drop or copy paste. All images were responsive to fit with browser device's width.

The widget have all features of full version CkEditor 4 (4.22.1)
