Introducing an electronic material Kanban system that enhances material management on top of Opcenter Core (Discrete) and Opcenter Foundation. This template is designed to support material managers and warehouse workers with a more efficient and streamlined workflow. It provides a drag-and-drop interface that simplifies material requests and processing through a Kanban board. The system can automatically generate material requests when inventory levels fall below defined thresholds, reducing manual effort and minimizing the risk of shortages or overstocking.
The application can be configured to operate with either Opcenter Core or Opcenter Foundation, allowing users to switch between platforms through configuration settings to match their deployment environment. This flexibility delivers a modern and practical approach to material management, improving processes while saving time across different Opcenter implementations.

Description
This application utilizes the Opcenter Execution Starter Kit to seamlessly integrate the Mendix app with Opcenter Core (Discrete) and Opcenter Foundation. The Mendix app synchronizes the configured data with Opcenter through a single-click action.
Through configuration settings, the application can be set up to connect to either Opcenter Core or Opcenter Foundation, allowing it to adapt to different execution environments.
The application operates on predefined threshold levels for materials in buffers, comparing the current inventory levels in Opcenter. Based on the configuration, it either automatically generates a Kanban card to indicate a material shortfall or sends a notification to the material manager.
Several automations are implemented on the Kanban board. The “Up Next” lane is automatically populated with the three in-progress cards that have the closest deadlines. Additionally, cards in the “Completed” lane are automatically removed after one week, ensuring a clean and organized board overview.
