Typical usage scenario

The typical usage scenario for password-protecting a PDF document involves securing sensitive information contained within the file. This scenario can apply to various situations, such as sharing confidential reports, financial statements, legal documents, or any other sensitive data that requires an additional layer of protection. 



Features and limitations

Password-protecting a PDF document ensures that only individuals with the correct password can access its contents, maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information. 

Currently, it is only available for PDFs not any other type of document.


Dependencies

  • Required Mendix 9.18.4 or above

Installation

  1. Download the module from the marketplace. 
  2. Use SecurePDF.JA_SecurePDF to secure the PDF (Portable Document Format). 
  3. Give PDF document as input that should be generalized with File document. 
  4. Provide a Password to protect that document.
