Overview

Off-Line App allows operators to download the selected Work Order Operations to a mobile device and then execute these operations in an environment where the network is not available because of security regulation or process limits (e.g., military environment, assembly within aircraft fuselage or ship hold, etc.).

During the production, the mobile device both displays instructions and records data manually inserted for the selected operations.​

After restoring the network, Off-Line App reconciles data on Opcenter EX DS server.

Goal

• Off-Line capability is the ability to support a scenario in which shop floor operators download selected Work Order Operations to a mobile device and go and execute them in an environment with no network connection
• During production, the mobile device displays instructions and records manually inserted data for the selected operations
• When network connectivity is restored, it is possible to upload traceability data back to the Opcenter EX DS server
