Data Model Description
The domain model is predominantly housed in Checklist Definition and Checklist Execution.
The Checklist Definition contains Checklists, Checklist Items, Item Types and Areas and Sub Areas, which can either be synchronised from Teamcenter or manually administered within the platform.
Checklist Execution contains the Inspection and Inspection decision entities. These are created on initiation of an Inspection and are used to gather the data from the inspections. Also within this module is the Item, these can be manually administered or created using the 'Reset Mock Data' button.
Process Description
The application has been designed to leverage mock data. Item Types can either be manually administered or can use Teamcenter integrations to retrieve 3D Models and Checklists.
Checklist
To synchronise a Checklist, edit the Item Type and populate the 'Teamcenter ItemID Control Plan' field with the Control Plan you would like to use. Highlight the Item Type you would like to update and the corresponding Gate. Please note that the Gate selected must correspond to the Gate within Teamcenter.
Teamcenter managed Checklists cannot be edited within the Mendix application. Checklists created within the application however can be modified as required using the Administration interface.
3D Model
For Item Types that are mastered by Teamcenter the 3D model is pulled from Teamcenter, the Model ID simply needs to be populated (this can be verified using the 3D Model (TC) tab).
For Item Types administered within the application the model can be added by uploading the JT file on the 'Edit Item Type' page.
Inspection
To start an Inspection sign in as a Quality Inspector, and click 'Start New Inspection' on the homepage. Item Type, Item and Gate then need to be selected. The combination of Item Type and Gate determines the Inspection steps to be completed.
The Inspection can then be completed. The menu on the right hand side can be used to view relevant Documents, Photos, Activity and Models associated with the Inspection Step. An Issue can be raised by clicking 'Issue'.
On raising an Issue if the Item Type is Teamcenter configured it will raise a non-conformance issue with Teamcenter otherwise it will log the issue.
On completion of an Inspection, in the event that a visual inspection has failed, a workflow will be initiated. The steps of this workflow can be found in the item Workflow_PostInspection. The workflow tasks can be viewed and managed by clicking the 'Tasks' tile on the Homepage.
